If you’ve been monitoring the property market lately, you’ll be very interested in last week’s top ten sales. The list was compiled by RP Data, and the properties ranged in value from just over $2 million to well over $6.5 million.

NSW dominates

Not surprisingly, with the rising prices across Sydney, eight of the top ten sales were located within NSW. However, the top sale on the list – which went for a whopping $6,660,00 million – was located in Canterbury, Victoria. This property has five bedrooms, four bathrooms and a six-car garage.

The remaining properties on the list sold for significantly less in comparison to those ranked in first and second place. They all ranged from $2 million to $2.975 million. The properties featured on this list (see table) are quite central to beaches or popular tourist hot spots for visitors to NSW – including Kirribilli, Manly, Freshwater, and Clovelly.
